This is a limited edition print from an original watercolour by Anna Knights, signed and numbered by the artist.

The rose illustrated was bred by David Austin, who commissioned the watercolour. The flowers of ‘Gertrude Jekyll’ expand from little scrolled buds into quite large pink rosettes of a beautiful Old Rose character. The Old Rose fragrance is strong, superb and perfectly balanced and is the quintessential rose fragrance. The growth is tall and vigorous, making it suitable for the middle or back of the border. It can also be grown as a climber where it will reach up to 8ft (2.5m).

The print is delivered mounted, measuring 40.6cm x 40.6cm, giving you the freedom to choose your own style of frame.

Anna Knights is an acclaimed botanical artist and RHS Gold Medal winner who regularly exhibits at the Chelsea Flower Show. The printer is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.
